Tracy Brinkley Nutall

At a young age, First Lady Tracy Brinkley Nutall knew that she would have a successful career as a legal professional one day. Born in Weldon, NC, to Carolyn (Pearson) Brinkley and the late Thomas O. Brinkley, Jr., Lady Tracy and her family moved to Washington, D.C. in 1974— later relocating to Glenarden, MD.

Lady Tracy graduated from Bowie State University, receiving a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management and later earning a Juris Doctor degree from the Howard University School of Law. She is a licensed attorney in the District of Columbia and Maryland. Lady Tracy currently serves as the Executive Director of the DC Judicial Nomination Commission.

NBBC welcomed Lady Tracy as a new member in 1994. During her time at NBBC, she has served as a member of the Young Adult Ministry, Board of Trustees, the Voices of Praise, and the Women's Ministry. She now serves as the coordinator of the Family Life Ministries.

Lady Tracy considers God's greatest gift to be that of her husband and best friend, Dexter Udell Nutall. She is especially grateful to God for blessing them with two beautiful daughters, Chandler Renée and Jaida McKenzie.

When asked, "How do you stay Rooted in Christ?" Lady Tracy responded, "Through fervent prayer and by meditating on God's word daily."

When asked, "How do you plan to continue to Grow in the Community?" She responded, "By continuing to put God first in all things and by letting Him guide my relationships with others."
